self-defense course for female students!

Unit for feminist politics of Graz University Students' Union offers in cooperation with the WTEO Martial Arts School in Graz a self defense course for female students.

The course aims that the students can defend in any emergency situation. It is shown how to defend themselves effectively with everyday objects, and you can use the power of / the Gegner_in for their own defense.

When: 08th
and 09 May 2010 09:30 to 15:30 each

Where:
Association Mafalda (Glacistraße 9, 8010 Graz) instead

Cost:
For each participant computes a cost contribution of 20 €, the other Amount assumes the Department of feminist politics.

Registration:
of 19 April to 03 May in the consultations of the Department of feminist politics: Monday, 9:30 to 10:30 and Friday, 13-14 Clock (Schubertstr. 6, 2nd floor).

From 21 to 23 May 2010 in Klagenfurt / Celovec.

What does the woman spring university this year?
workshops, art and culture around the theme "Women - Round - Utopias".

The goal of the University, there Mrs Spring ...
... to create a space for women and trans women of all ages and backgrounds to share knowledge, to explore discrimination and not (women's) pictures and standards to be accepted as a given but to question, to create a community of autonomous women's space - To do for education, networking, empowerment of women and women's issues and therefore company policy independent of political parties, religious and other associations. Women of different cultures, generations and social backgrounds can learn from one another and build broad networks, thinking up new projects and thus become active themselves for a more just society.

This is important: To allow access to the FFU for mothers, child care will be offered.
